E-Gram Frequently Asked Questions
What information is available through Bay Cities E-Gram service?
Members can receive an E-Gram when Consumer Loan rates, Savings rates and Certificate rates change, as well as when the newsletter is available online, Special Offers and New Products and Services are made available. An E-Gram will also be sent out when new E-Gram categories are added by the Credit Union.

How often will I receive an E-Gram?
E-Grams are sent every time your "Tell Me When" event occurs. Events can occur daily, weekly or monthly.

How much does Bay Cities E-Gram service cost?
There is no charge for Bay Cities E-Gram service. In fact, once you're an E-Gram member, you'll be eligible to receive special Credit Union product offers via email.

What kind of computer equipment and software program is needed to use E-Grams?
You do not need any special computer configuration or software package to access your E-Grams, just a computer, a modem, Internet access and an Internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption. Netscape Navigator 4.75 or higher, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, CompuServe 2000, and AOL 5.0 or higher provide the security encryption required for certain parts of Bay Cities E-Gram service.

What if my Internet browser is not one of the versions needed to access my account information?
Both Netscape and Microsoft offer free download upgrades of their browsers on their respective home pages. Click on the Icons above to transfer directly to your browser's download page.

Your E-Gram can be viewed by opening the email notification that will be sent to your email address of record.

What if I no longer want to receive my E-Grams? How do I stop receiving them?
You may change your E-Gram options or unsubscribe from E-Grams in one of the following ways:
To stop getting specific E-Grams, visit the "E-Gram enrollment" page to change your options by clicking here. Fill out the form as if you were starting new service, with the new options selected. To unsubscribe entirely, fill out the simple unsubscribe form and you will be removed from the service. Can I have my E-Gram email notification sent to two different email addresses?
We can only send your E-Gram notification to one email address.

How do I notify the Credit Union of my new email address?
You can change your email address online on the E-Gram enrollment form by clicking here and filling out the form again, or contact a Credit Union representative at 510-690-6100 or email us at info@baycities.org.

How do I change my E-Gram choices?
You can Add or Delete individual E-Gram choices on the E-Gram enrollment form by clicking here and filling out the form as if you were signing up for new service. Check the box to the left of an E-Gram choice to add the E-Gram or uncheck the box to delete the E-Gram. Be sure to click on the "Submit" button to record your preferences.

Email, Postal Mailing Addresses, and Phone Numbers. When you furnish us with your email address, postal mailing address, or phone number through our website so that we can respond to a request you made online, we will use your e-mail, postal mailing address and phone number only to respond to your request. If you would like us to change your address, phone number, or e-mail address on our account records, please submit the changes in writing. You can make the changes by fax, mail or in person at the Credit Union. If you are sending the changes by mail, please include your account number along with your signature.
