The Benefits of a Home Equity Line of Credit

When considering sources of finance, home equity loans and home equity lines of credit stand out as the cheapest and most flexible financial options.

We've got the programs you want!

  • No points, annual fees, or closing costs.

Your loan must remain open for 12 months; if terminated prior, the establishment costs of $175 - $400 would be recovered. Property insurance is required.
  • Our unique Designed For Members™ Home Equity Line of Credit rate-change program adjusts your rate only twice a year, in February and August, when rates are going up, and monthly when rates are declining!
  • Possible tax savings. Consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of interest.

Check out the rate payment table below to see just how low your line of credit payments could be:

  • $10,000 -- Monthly Payment $78
  • $20,000 -- Monthly Payment $156
  • $30,000 -- Monthly Payment $234
  • $50,000 -- Monthly Payment $390

Payment amounts are based on rates as low as 4.75% APR*. The minimum first draw on a Prime Equity Line is $10,000.

*APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Rate is adjustable and subject to change if Prime Rate as published in the Wall Street Journal changes. An increase in payments can result if rate is adjusted upward. Floor is 4.75% APR, ceiling is 12%. Annual rate cap increase is 1%. Your rate depends on your overall credit score and could be higher than 4.75%.
